Pauwels has been producing Cast Resin transformers for more than 10 years. They are in service in diverse industries such as car production, steel making and semiconductor manufacture and also in high density office accommodation and high rise buildings. You can find some of our largest units under the pyramid on top of the Canary Wharf main tower in London and out of sight powering the London Eye!
Our most cost effective design at present uses aluminium as the conductor material. The Primary HV winding is fully cast under vacuum and the secondary or LV winding is made in the Prepreg method.
Ratings can be produced to allow for harmonic heating heffects - K13 and K10 are typical enhanced ratings.
