Pauwels Trafo Ireland produces several thousand single phase pole mount transformers every year. This volume enables the economies of scale needed to remain successful in this extremely competitive product segment.

The simplest basic tank design used is the cylindrical tank or "dustbin" configuration with HV outdoor shedded bushings on the tank cover and LV bushings also on the tank cover or alternatively on the tank side. Standards applicable include IEC76 and ESI 35 - 1 as per client requirements. Arcing horns or lightning arresters can be fitted as required.
